Parent portal

Parents follow their child’s progress without calling the center

Families sign in to a private portal on their phone with just a phone number, and read the session summaries, goal progress, reports and appointments your center chooses to publish. You decide what’s published, to whom, and when.

The questions parents ask every week

In many centers, parents ask the same few questions, usually over WhatsApp or by phone:

The answers arrive late or incomplete. That’s not because the team isn’t working; it’s because nothing makes the information available on its own. Not knowing makes families anxious, and anxious families call.

  • “How did today’s session go?”
  • “Is he moving forward on his goals?”
  • “When will the report be ready?”

What a parent sees in the portal

A parent follows their own child and only what the center has published. They’re notified in the portal and by a WhatsApp message.

This is what they find in the portal:

  • Session summaries: what the specialist worked on and how the child responded
  • Progress on each goal, instead of a general “he’s improving”
  • Official reports, downloaded whenever they like without asking at reception
  • The child’s appointments

You decide what’s published, and to whom

Nothing reaches a parent without your approval. The specialist writes their notes on sessions, you publish what the family should see, and you choose what goes to each parent individually. Internal notes stay inside the center.

Aghsan can also prepare a family-friendly summary from the specialist’s input, with the help of AI. The specialist reviews and edits it before it’s published, and clinical decisions stay with your team. Reports reach the portal when you share them.

How a parent gets started

There’s no app to install and no password to set up:

A center manager can add parents at any time. For the full walkthrough, see the getting started guide.

  • From People, open the Parents tab and add the parent
  • Your center sends the invitation link by email or WhatsApp
  • They sign in with their phone number and a one-time code, with no password
  • They open the portal in their phone’s browser on iOS or Android, so there’s nothing to download or update

A parent’s account and settings

Parents have pages in the portal that they manage themselves:

Parent portal accounts are unlimited on every plan, so adding another family never costs extra. Pricing is per active child per year, as the pricing page explains.

  • Profile
  • Login and security
  • Children
  • Notifications
  • Language

Children’s privacy comes first

Each center’s data is isolated from every other center’s, and only your team sees it. A parent sees their own child’s information and nothing else.

Data is protected with TLS encryption in transit, and sensitive fields are stored encrypted. The details are in the privacy policy.

What the portal gives families

Sign in with a phone number

No password and no new account: a one-time code, and the parent is in.

A summary after each session

They read what your center published, and get a notification in the portal and on WhatsApp, without waiting on a reply.

Progress on every goal

They see where their child stands on each goal, not a general remark.

Reports to download any time

Reports you share appear in the portal for the parent to download.

Appointments

Parents can see their child’s appointments without asking at reception.

In the browser, no app

The portal works on iOS and Android with nothing to download or update.
